• Permission Requested: READ_STEPS (Steps / StepsCadence).
• Purpose of Access: We request read-only access to daily step counts to automatically sync and record daily physical activity compliance towards prescribed habit goals in the patient's clinical dashboard.
• Limited Use: Health Connect data is accessed solely to provide user-facing habit tracking and clinical supervision under Dr. Neha Wadhwa.
• No Advertising or Sale of Health Data: We never sell, transfer, or disclose Health Connect data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
• Read-Only Access: Fit Physique does not write, alter, or overwrite any records in your Health Connect storage.

9. Data Retention Policy

We retain user data only for as long as necessary to fulfill clinical consultation purposes and comply with legal requirements:

• Active Accounts: User profiles, health logs, diet plans, consultation messages, and habit records (including synced step data) are retained in our secure database for the duration of your active account to maintain treatment history and clinical continuity.
• Account Deletion: When an account deletion request is submitted, your account is deactivated immediately, and all associated personal health data, lab reports, photos, and consultation messages are permanently expunged from active databases within 30 calendar days.
• Statutory Financial Records: Payment transaction receipts and GST invoices processed via our payment gateway (Razorpay) are retained for up to 7 years strictly to comply with mandatory statutory accounting and taxation laws. These financial records are stored separately and not linked to active clinical health metrics.
• Anonymized Data: Aggregate, non-personally identifiable statistical metrics may be retained indefinitely for clinical research and system optimization.
